"There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in."
- Leonard Cohen's "Anthem"

Kathryn Oberdorfer an abstract artist rooted in the era of Abstract Expressionism. She is inspired by the sense of process that characterizes the works of Amy Sillman, Joan Mitchell and Richard Diebenkorn. Her focus is on the strategic placement of seemingly dissonant colors and linear elements with the intent of encouraging viewers to expand their visual worlds.

Kathryn is affiliated with Spark Gallery where she exhibits regularly.
