Abstraction in Nature
Art is embedded in nature and they who can extract it, have it.

What intrigues me about abstract art is the problems it presents.
It is much like putting the pieces of a puzzle together – arranging and rearranging elements until the composition comes together.
I bring to my work a concern for color, shape and line, and their relationship to each other. My imagery is based on abstract forms found in natural settings - most recently, Denver's Botanic Gardens. The spontaneous character of my work reflects the energy I gather from my natural surroundings.
